Science Art Forest School is a hands-on, outdoor learning space where science, creativity and nature come together.
We offer screen-free classes, workshops, and experiences for children, teens and families that encourage curiosity, exploration and real-world learning.
Located in a natural setting in Matthews, NC, our programs blend science, art and nature to create meaningful, hands-on experiences you wonāt find in a traditional classroom.

At Science Art Forest School, learning is active, hands-on and connected to the real world. Participants experiment, build and discover how things work ā not just what they are.

We had an amazing time at Science Art Forest! 10/10 recommend following and joining their events. Today's lesson was animals that lay eggs! Then Liberty discovered some edible plants and the teacher 100% embraced the side lesson. We got to to taste test honeysuckle, Stevia, and borage flowers and took home some Indian strawberries, wild garlic, and wood sorrel.Ā
